Rating Policy

1. How Ratings Work

BuyVroom uses a two-way rating system. After every completed transaction, both parties -- buyer and seller -- can rate each other. Ratings are on a 1-5 star scale with a written review. Ratings become visible once both parties have reviewed, or after 14 days from transaction completion -- whichever comes first.

• Fairness in returns and disputes
• Overall transaction experience

If you believe a review is unfair, you may dispute it within 7 days. Our moderation team will review the dispute and decide within 5 business days. Reviews may be removed if they contain: false information, abusive language, personal data, or are unrelated to the specific transaction. The moderation team's decision is final.

6. Penalties

Violations of the rating policy result in the following consequences:

• Warning for first minor offense
• Temporary account feature restrictions (7-30 days)
• Reduced listing visibility in search results
• Account suspension for systematic violations
• Permanent ban for rating manipulation or fraud

7. Data Protection (GDPR)

Ratings and reviews are processed in accordance with GDPR. Your ratings are part of your profile and are subject to data access and portability rights. When you delete your account, your reviews are anonymized but not removed, to maintain rating system integrity. You can request an export of all your rating data by contacting privacy@buyvroom.com.
